Effective date: July 21, 2026
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy applies to the Status Saver mobile application published by WORLDCLASS under the package name:
com.worldclass.status.downloader
This Privacy Policy explains how Status Saver accesses, processes, uses, stores, and shares information when you install or use the application.
WORLDCLASS respects user privacy and aims to provide clear information about the permissions, advertising services, analytics services, crash-reporting tools, and local media features used by Status Saver.
By installing or using Status Saver, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. ABOUT STATUS SAVER
Status Saver allows users to view, manage, save, delete, and share status images and videos available through supported messaging applications, including WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
The application processes status media primarily on the user’s device.
Status Saver is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with WhatsApp LLC, WhatsApp Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliates.
WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business are trademarks of their respective owners.
3. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Status Saver does not require users to:
• Create an account
• Provide a name
• Provide a phone number
• Provide a postal address
• Create a password
• Upload a profile picture
WORLDCLASS does not operate a user-account database for the main Status Saver features.
4. MEDIA AND FOLDER ACCESS
To provide its main features, Status Saver may request access to photos, videos, media files, or folders selected by the user.
Depending on the Android version, the application may use:
• Android photo and video permissions
• Media access permissions
• The Android Storage Access Framework
• Access to a folder specifically selected or authorized by the user
This access may be used to:
• Display available status images and videos
• Read supported WhatsApp status folders
• Read supported WhatsApp Business status folders
• Preview status images and videos
• Save selected status media
• Display saved media
• Delete media when requested by the user
• Share selected media with another application
Status Saver does not upload the content of the user’s status folders, photos, or videos to WORLDCLASS servers.
The application accesses only the media or folders required for the features requested by the user and permitted by the Android operating system.
5. LOCAL MEDIA PROCESSING
Status images and videos are primarily processed locally on the user’s device.
When a user saves a status, the selected media may be copied to a local folder or media collection on the device.
Saved files remain on the device until they are:
• Deleted by the user
• Removed through the application
• Removed through the device file manager
• Removed when application data is cleared
• Removed according to Android storage behavior
Files saved to a public gallery or shared media folder may remain on the device after the application is uninstalled.
6. TEMPORARY STATUS HISTORY
If the temporary recent-status history feature is enabled in the version of Status Saver installed on the device, the application may temporarily store media that the user has viewed.
This temporary media:
• Is stored inside the application’s private storage
• Remains on the user’s device
• Is not uploaded to WORLDCLASS servers
• May be retained for up to seven days
• May be automatically removed after the retention period
• May be removed when the application’s data is cleared
• Is normally removed when the application is uninstalled
Opening or viewing a status again may refresh its local retention period where this functionality is enabled.
